Structured prompts that keep peer feedback specific, evidenced and useful to the next production decision.
What learners need
- A work in progress with one stated purpose
- Four prompts on cards or a shared screen
- A short response space for the maker
Instructions
- The maker states what the work is trying to achieve and names one decision they need help with.
- The reviewer uses four prompts: I noticed…; I expected…; I was unsure when…; I would test…
- For each point, the reviewer names the moment, area or feature that produced it.
- The maker may ask for evidence but does not defend every choice.
- The maker chooses one next test or change and records why it is the priority.
Adapt it by level
Use one visual or interaction goal and sentence starters with a concrete example.
Require the reviewer to separate what they observed from the change they suggest.
Ask for feedback against audience, brief and production stage, not personal taste alone.
Compare feedback from multiple reviewers, identify conflicts and justify which evidence changes the plan.
